Hi

Over the years I've labored through some classical guitar studies...never truly acquiring the patience to master any piece in particular. I write some songs now and then, and I hear a lot of lead melodies in my head as an accompanying fleshing-out of the tune so to speak. I have a stubborn mental block when it comes to scale playing. It appears tedious to me, but I want to enjoy the challenge of the scale runs. Can anyone suggest a popular scale run from a song or piece of instrumental guitar music, and how I should 'attack' the progression of it? . Thank you for your suggestions Smile
