My Musical Knowledge

Instruments I Play:

Nylon String Acoustic GuitarYears Playing: 16Proficiency: Intermediate
Electric GuitarYears Playing: 8Proficiency: Intermediate
Steel String Acoustic GuitarYears Playing: 8Proficiency: Intermediate

My Musical Education:

None really, i bought my first nylon string acoustic from a friend when i was about 13 and i started learning on my own, then my dad bought me my Yamaha electric but i gave up on playing short after that... now 7 years later i find myself playing again but taking a more serious approach. Right now Iīm hoping to start some lessons cause you can only get so good without any type of guidance.

My Musical Influences:

Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, Eric Clapton, Judas Priest, Steve Vai, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duane Allman, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer(new and improved blues-playing John Mayer), B.B. King, Robert Johnson, Howling Wolf, Nirvana, Tom Morello, Paco de Lucía, Dvorak, Mozart, Haendel, Beethoven, Soda Stereo, Coldplay and probably a lot more i donīt seem to remember right now.

My Learning Resources:

Since i havenīt started taking serious lessons iīd have to say the internet, mostly these sites:

And i also find powertab software and friend advice to be incredibly useful

About My Music:
I havenīt written anything myself (that being the reason i gave up on the instrument the first time), i only have some variations of well known songs arranged for solo guitar but thatīs pretty much it.

Comment:
Cheap guitar (though in my country nothing is actually cheap), got as a gift when i was 13 and i have to say it has been quite the value. It´s beautiful blue finish was flawless (though not for long), plays very smoothly, pickups aren´t bad for a guitar on this price range, stays in tune, and is willing to take quite a beating. Anyway this guitar is awesome for a beginner, definitively better than a crappy Squier or Epiphone special, the things I plan on changing are:

- Better Fretwork.

- Bone or graphite nut so I can throw out that plastic bend-inhibiting piece of s**t.

- Better 500k Pots cause it came with 250k.

- Better Pickups.
